Loan repayment discrepancies

Five years ago I received a loan and my repayment was worked out and it has been withdrawn from my account on a monthly basis for the last 5 years. Two weeks ago I went to the Ventersdorp branch and they told me that my repayment rate was never correctly determined and I now owe almost double my original loan and almost a repayment rate 4 times higher than originally agreed upon.
