loan payment arrangements

standard bank left numerous voicemails to me regarding my loan that fell into arrears as my debits was not correctly switched, nevertheless after making the necessary arrangements and having a timeously call with one of the recover departments agents, i was advised that even if i make an arrangement the system will still debit my account if there is funds available in the account, not taking my cash expenses into consideration - my question being, so why does std bank still need to make contact with clients if they are going to debit full arrears amounts? and after speaking to one of the agents i am still receiving numerous calls as i was informed that they have no arrangements set up on their systems. How many times do i need to make arrangements that are not applicable in any case?
