Loan application wiered requirements

<p>I app**** for a loan at Standard Bank Hyde Park.The consultant Dipou told me that the bank wants a letter from my employer promising the bank that they will call Standard Bank when I leave the company.Does this really make sense?Who should always remember about my loan in HR?Do you want the company I work for to take ownership of my loan.They can confirm employment. You can always call my employer to check if I am still working under that company. I have never heard such a stupid demand to have someone in HR lie on behalf I the company that they will call the bank when I leave the company.
