Listed on credit bureau after account was settled

I would like to inform everybody of the excellent business practices of Standard Bank SA, in September this year I went into my local SBSA branch to get a settlement amount on an overdraft I had on my check account I had with SBSA, the lady at the customer services desk was very helpful and got my settlement amount for me and I paid that amount into that account that was given to me, after the amount was reflected on my account the account was closed as per my instruction and a paid-up letter was given to me confirming that no money was owed and that the account has now been closed. Today I found out that a day after the account has been settled and closed SBSA handed me over to XDS credit bureau and defaulted my name with the amount of R2956 which was more or less the discount that I have received from them for settling my account, so now I would really like to know why and how is this possible as this now reflects very badly on my credit record!!!

Reviewer Update
So it has been more than a week now, like this message above from SBSA and another email from them I was asked twice to provide them with all the information and twice I have given it to SBSA, but it seems that this is not of any priority to SBSA because nothing has happened since not even a reply that they have received all the information. So now I want to know what else can one do to put pressure on SBSA to resolve my issue with them because clearly by just asking their complaints department for help is not enough. A well deserved 2 out of 10 for SBSA!!!!! I also have a friend that was considering switching SBSA, and I told him about this and he has decided not to switch to SBSA anymore.
