Linking new credit card to internet banking

Good day

I have recently (actually in October 2016) received my new upgrade of my credit card (Titanium).

During that month I had noticed that this new credit card was not linked to my internet banking.

I had visited the Centurion branch (located at the centurion Mall) and they had informed me that there was a problem with the card and they had to log a ticket with their SAP department. They had informed me that this will take 40 working hours to resolve.

Thinking that this is standard bank and that I have never had any issues/problems with them, I had not recorded the ticket or the person that assisted me.

Since then I had not received any notification or feedback from standard bank.

On the 24th Dec 2016, I went to standard bank lifestyle centre centurion to check on this status. Nothing was done...obliviously.

Again they had to log another ticket (#REQ ********** 03699 ). This time I had noted the lady that assisted me (Marcia Chabalala)

It’s now the 9th Jan 2017. By my calculation, it’s been more than 40 working hours (excluding weekends)

I'm really disappointed with your customer service. This is the first time I have had an issue with standard bank. you tend to rate yourself as one of the best banks in SA, clearly thats not the case since Capitec is at the top.

Dear Standard Bank

Is this how to handle customer queries?

Request ID & Bank account details and then stay silent?

Then the so called Çomplaint resolution centre asks if this issue is resolved and when i say no....they stay silent.

The person in question Clint Petersen

Really Standard Bank? Really?
