Late estate finalization pending since 2018, estate officer disinterested.

The Letter of Executorship of the Estate of the Late Audrey Margaret Cattanach was issued 3 March 2018.

The Estate Officer is Zola Mbatha. To date this uncomplicated estate has not been wound up, with no clear reason why. Zola whats more is very difficult to get hold of. She doesn't answer her phone, nor does she return calls when messages are left. Several of the members of the family have tried to deal with her with the same finding.

Zola last emailed after several entreaties to respond to my emails on 5 October 2020, stating in both her response to myself and my cousin, "Kindly know that the finalisation of the above estate is highly import to us and that we will do our best to ensure we finalize same during this month". I asked for an update on email on the 21st. I have yet again had no response and asked her again this morning to respond.

It would seem that the finalizing of the estate is a very low priority to Zola. I am a minor heir, but what would have happened if one of the primary heirs had depended on the payout for continued survival? That would have been a disaster indeed?
