Keep the R3000 & close all my Accounts
Standard bank touch up insurance is a ****. I was sold a touch up policy from standard bank. The maximum claim value is R3000. I paid premiums on time every month. Now that my bumper is damaged they refuse to pay. They are not interested in the claim value. They simply declined because the bumper is plastic & it has a tear. I told the lady on the phone that I am willing to take it to a panel beater & they will fix it for less than R3000. She said NO, because it has a tear they refuse to pay. I went on to explain that this is a minor repair. I can have it fixed at the maximum insured value of R3000. She was adamant that they are not interested. She said even though it can be fixed for less than R3000 they declined the claim. She said NO, is NO. What a ripof, they Take premiums like clockwork every month & now hide between fine lines. I hereby give notice that I wish to have this insurance policy, that is not worth the paper its printed on, CANCELLED. In fact this is the last time I do business with standard bank. Keep the R3000. I truly don't care. Congratulations, you won the battle but you lost the war. Kiss my business goodbye. my number is ***. After this matter was escalated they still say it is not going to be paid. Kindly close all my accounts. Bond, Car, Credit cards, business accounts & private banking accounts. I am not putting up with your **** any longer. Rather take my business elsewhere.
