Just promote that lady

First of all, this 5 star is not necessarily for Standard bank. Its for a standard bank employee. I honestly forgot her name but at Standard bank Springs branch, (not the mall) there is an Indian lady who works as a prestige banker or whatever they are called. She is short and sits on the left cubicle towards the end when coming from the entrance. I think she has worked there for about 10 years now if I am not mistaken. I will find out her name and get back to you a bit later. . Quick recap. Standard bank has previously ****ed me off in more ways than one. This year however, they pushed me to a point where I said enough is is enough. I was about to close all my accounts after 8 long years of banking with them. I went to that branch to exactly that. That is how I first met this lady. . Now, about this lady... that lady's promotion is long overdue. Mind you, I hardly ever come to hello peter to give anybody a good review, neither am I her friend. She is the only Standard bank employee (ignoring my uncle) who was ever able to successfully calm me down. I am not an unreasonable person, I had valid reasons to be ****ed off. Furthermore, I know how you guys really make your money. I understand securities lending and implications of fractional currency reserve banking. That is why most financial services companies fail to sell me a load of bull**** in this tough economy. But she... she somehow convinced me not to close all my accounts. She help you make more money out of me. And if that does not say a lot about how good she is at her job, I do not know what will. But that was over 5 months ago... . I saw her again yesterday. I thought she had completely forgotten me. She remembered. She further sorted out my matter when other employees seemed clueless. She also introduced me to My360. This has helped me account for my entire net worth and track my progress. I have since been able to make better decisions regarding my long term financial goals. . Hello Peter, kindly ensure this review also gets to higher management, other relevant personnel and those charged with governance, as a letter of recommendation. I urge standard bank to not only promote this lady, but to further invest in her if they not doing it already. They must also help her register for CIMA/CFA/MBA or something and pay for studies. Then make her an investment banker when she graduates. I'm sure they know they will get higher BBBEE ratings, tax benefits, KING IV corporate governance bragging rights, etc. If they do not promote her by the end of this year, I will personally recommend her to other banks big banks if they do not recognize the talent they are sleeping on. .
