Investment - Pensioners Capital Eaten Into - Mr. H T Mankolane

“Without Prejudice”

I’m 63 year pensioner.

id:*** cell ***

In 2015 I was retrenched, trusting in “My Bank Standard Bank “ I approached the bank to invest my retirement funds. This wanting to invest , save and obtain monthly inform with the option to grow on the side. The financial advisor explained that in terms of the product that was sold will do just that and on the 15 August 2015 signed the documents . Her name was Lydia Madlopha ( which now is no longer in service with the bank).

I have never received a statement, annually or bi annually. If I had not visited the bank earlier this year to report that my phone was ported un-knowingly and wanted to confirm if there was any transactions is as not aware of I would not have learned that my capital has been eaten into of my investment. I went from the Boksburg branch of which the financial advisor there did not want to take ownership and explain what went wrong or the Carnival Mall branch in Brakpan. I was referred to so many people even to go to Pretoria, is that fare, a pensioner , I want answers as what I was sold is not what I’m getting.

I even logged a complain on the ***0 to date no response via email on the “Disappointed link” I have been a loyal client for so many ears I’m now in my sunset years and have to worry how I will get buy.

I have been advised to take this to the media within 7 business day should I not be adeptly contacted or explained what happened to my investment and where my interest is . Lydia received R27,910.55 of my money for something that has not been beneficial.

I await your feedback

Mr Mankolane
