Interest rate almost doubled

<p>I have an overdraft on a business account and about a year ago I unfortunately had a returned debit order of a very small amount (about R500) due to me moving funds into the overdraft a day late. After that, standard bank has increased the interest rate on the overdraft with almost 10%. I have been in contact with my bank (PAARL BRANCH) numerous times to try and rectify the issue as it has a massive impact impact on my bottom line. I am currently of the firm beleive that standard bank is only there to fill their own coffers with as much as possible, doesnt matter who they take down in their greedy process. I also logged a complaint on the standard bank website but received no reference number yet.</p>
