Ineffective and Inefficient Service Delivery

My husband passed away 8 years ago. Finally Standard Bank tells me there is an amount due to me after numerous enquiries for a paid up letter to clear my name. In spite of their claim to resolve matters within 5-7 working days I have been waiting for more than 20 days for the matter to be resolved. I have contacted them last year December via email and got no response. I called this year and got more empty promises. This morning I am told that I must wait yet again because the document I submitted on Friday is unclear. I have never experienced such inefficient and ineffective service. For 8 years I’ve been waiting for documentation from Standard Bank to clear my name and today I learn that yet again the waiting must continue regardless of the challenges and desperate situation I find myself in. The service is pathetic. And here I was considering becoming a client. I will not recommend Standard Bank because your service and turn around time is pathetic. I hope my matter will be resolved today. Rowena
