INDENTITY THEFT

On the 3rd of January 2016 we could not use the card for internet banking. We phoned customer care theycouldnt help. Went to Standard bank Rondebosch they could not see any *****elant activity on my account, but could not get into my account with my current card and gave me a new card. Came home to use it and could not. Went back to Standard bank and they said it was not right. They checked my balances again and now monies have been *****alanty taken out of my account. 7 new beneficiaries were loaded and R67 000+ was transferred between those accounts.

We explained to them that at the same time I could not get into my internet banking I could not use my cell phone as someone had done a *****alant sim swap at 3:20 the day before.

Standard bank has only paid back R19 000 + and the rest they are not taking liabiltiy for.

The ***** department can give me no answers. I want to know was a one time pin sent to the cell phone number, I want time and date. Was sms confirmations sent to cell number to add beneficiaries. None reflecting on the cell phone. I am the customer, but I have to subpoena Standard bank for this information.

Have opened a case with SAPS

I want all my money back from Standard bank with interest. This was identity theft.
