Incredibly dissatisfied Standard Bank client.

I've been a loyal Standard Bank customer for 32 years. Recently I've found myself a victim of ***** on both my credit card and my cheque account. First was reported on the 25th of March for R21 949.15. They proceeded to block my card and ***** division has been "investigating" the matter ever since. Received a letter from ***** division offering an amount of R12969.80 in refund. This is nowhere near the amount that was *****ed off of my account. This is what Standard Bank considered to be a gesture of goodwill. I proceeded to get a new card with new details. On the 28th of April I had once again contacted ***** division because of another batch of *****ulent transactions had gone off the brand new card (which by the way I had to pay for) for an amount of R31726.86. They proceeded to stop the card once again and I asked not to send me another new card. On May 2nd I once again reported new ***** on my Debit card (which had only just been activated) for an amount of R15739.19. Standard Bank has done absolutely no investigation on the matter and if they did why have I not heard anything besides "we're working on it". Their consultants claim that an investigation takes 6 working days, we are nearing the 2 month mark on the first batch of *****. Does the bank not have anyone's interest at heart anymore? What has happened to credit protection? I have been to the police station for affidavits 3 times and done everything they have asked of me yet they don't seem to realize that I am a pensioner and a widow. I do not have the luxury of being able to pay for some random stranger's shopping trip. The banks have insurance for these instances yet they try their very best to avoid refunding anyone anything. I have an attorney on standby and if I don't hear from Standard Bank during the next week I will be contacting Carte Blanche, maybe their investigative skills will help because Standard Bank obviously doesn't care. I will also be closing all of my accounts with them. How can they allow more ***** on an account that has already been flagged as *****ulent and the customer is just expected to sit back and take it. Enough is enough. It seems to all this is an inside job because as soon as I get a new card there are more *****ulent transactions on the account.
