since approx 2 years (?) ago one could pay your std bank accounts like motor vehicle and homeloan at pick n pay with a facility called pay@ I HATE D/O so I asked if it could be moved to 6th & if would be extra costs. (I want to (as with other places pay my acc myself way in advance and then d/o wouldn't go off since system is supposed to pick up payment already made). answer was no, but one day saw it was moved to 10th and now I have to pay something like R200 pm extra for that (all of this without asking my opinion or permission). THEN even though I PAY MY ACC AT THE END OF PREVIOUS MONTH (ie 10 to 12/13 days EARLY - I STILL HAVE TO PAY THAT EXTRA AMOUNT!!) plus THE DEBIT ORDER A-L-S-O was going off as they told me it could not be stopped. this went on for ages and then I noticed I was charged R125 costs every month for sending back debit order. then one day I STRIPPED my ..... and contacted complaints and after they took a few days and investigated my acc and saw I was paying full amount 10-13 days in advance debit order was stopped but only SOME R125 extra costs were credited (like the last 3 months'- THE REST GOT ****** BY STD BY KEEPING IT WHICH MAKES THEM *******.) THAT'S NOW AFTER I HAVE BEEN TOLD FOR AGES A D/O CAN'T BE STOPPED. BUT now I still sit with the problem that from the 11th of every month I AM BEING HARRASSED 50 TIMES A DAY with calls and smsses (sometimes just after 07:00 like this morning and THIS ON A SATURDAY!) and I even had calls after 19:00 !!! *** do these ppl think - ARE YOU THE BANK GODS??? Yesterday when speaking to them when they phoned I told the assistant Standard bank should just ......off. she put the phone down and 10 min later I got a call from ITC (no doubt connected to std bank) Now this is a FRIENDLY warning you have 48 HOURS to correct what black marks you have against me on ITC or I will slap you with a defamation of character law suit so fast your H.O. will spin. also LEAVE ME THE **** ALONE - YOUR ACCOUNT IS BEING PAID 20 TO 13 DAYS EARLY E-V-E-R-Y MONTH AND SHOULD YOU NOT STOP HARRASSING ME I WILL SUE YOU FOR HARRASSMENT AS WELL!!! PETER who man's complaints dept is also an .... and it doesn't even help to speak to him (at a time I still tried to) as he ignores one anycase when he sees that std bank is in the wrong and there is no excuses for them. I ALSO PAY MY HOME LOAN IN EXACTLY THE SAME WAY AND N-E-V-E-R GETS HARRASSED AND ITS ALSO STD BANK. WHAT A GROSS ****-UP
