Incompetence
<p>Never in all my life have I experienced such incompetence. FICA documentation is understandably a legal requirement but when a bank keeps putting accounts on hold without notification due to FICA compliance not being valid, yet it has been done at least five times, all I can assume is that the administration of this process is run by a bunch of *********** people. Thank you for jerking me and my wife around yet again, you abviousy do not value keeping customers.</p>

So before receiving this message I did the running around to provide the "missing" paperwork which was showing correctly on the Standard Bank system but not on the system for the affected account. The branch was fantastic in assisting to get everything done quickly, the information is reflected and the required request lodged for the account hold to be removed. I was told it will take 24hrs for this to be actioned. This was done 17 February and to-date the hold has not been removed. So there is pockets of fantastic support but the incompetence continues to amaze.
