******* Set off of Personal Loan

<p>I am disillusioned with Standard Bank. I have been a customer since my teens. I owed them a personal loan which I had not been able to service.</p> <p>I received from a friend to help me clear my debt. The bank appropriated the funds without my permission under the guise of "set off clause". There is no set off clause because this is ******* in terms of the NCA.</p> <p>I have been dealing with Standard bank on this issue for over a month, without success. I took the matter to the Ombudsman who proved to be as *********** because they have not responded to follow up emails.<br />I have since taken up the matter with the FSB. My obs# ********** and the contact at the Bank is Ms Rossouw.</p> <p>I have been treated like a ******** and standard bank is acting like an ************ loan shark.</p> <p>#unacceptableiamclosingmyaccount</p>
