IGNORED FOR A YEAR THEN HANDED OVER TO UNFAIR COLLECTIONS

In September 2015 I noticed International ***** on my credit card. I contacted Standard Bank and was referred to a departmnt called ChargeBack. I collected the forms and completed them but the only way to send was via fax which did not work. I went into The Glen branch to hand them in a 2nd time and they were not sure where it was meant to go. I did further follow up but received only automated responses. I then had a whole new batch of documants dropped off at Southdale branch and they were also unsure of where they had to go. Every month I send countless emails following up. The ***** continued and I informed Standard Bank I was freezing all actions on this account. I refused to collect the new card & informed them. I had some consultants from ChargeBack contact me to assist and each tim I had to repreat tthe entire process of submitting the documents etc. ONE YEAR later I get contacted by LGR Attorneys. I explain the situation and they totally disappear for nearly 2 months. I did a complete search of all correspondence from Standard Bank BlueBean to see if they had advised me of being handed over or that my account was not being paid - Nothing!!! They had even stopped sending me my invoices / statements. I was then threatened by LGR once again. It was only after a month of ugly calls and nasty sms's from LGR that SUDDENLY the ***** is finally credited and I was only informed of the amount via LGR and could not even dispute it. I called Standard Bank to ask WHY AM I HANDED OVER WITHOUT NOTIFICATION AND WITHOUT THE ***** BEING SORTED OUT. I felt it was unfair as now a large amount of costs have been added. In one year I received maybe 3 calls asking about payment to which I explained that I had been very patient with no response to the ***** and when sorted out I would continue to settle the account. I realise now I was wrong to not continue the monthly payments but out of frustration of having to send emails every single month for a year and with continued ***** Iwas afraid of it not being rectified. The bank had confirmed it looked like *****ulant transactions hence I persued the matter and stopped using the card. I have all proof and I strongly feel that Standard Bank acted very unfairly by not contacting me and then placing me under LGR which in itself has been a nightmare. They threatened me so badly I loaned R5000 from a family member to make sure that I met their request for R960 per month after realising that Standard Bank would not assist me. I ensured that I covered payments till Jan 2017 to allow me time to recover with my own financial strain. I made the payment and suddenly 2 months later they are threatening me with Judgement saying that they do not accept the payment to cover for 5 months and if I do not continue the payments they will attach all my belongings. I receive approx 5 calls a day from LGR now and I continue to say that I made a plan to pay and covered myself for 5 months and I explain myself silly but nothing helps!! I have decided to bring this matter forward to Standard Bank asking them why they were not willing to assist me after it took 12 months to rectify ***** and this was only done AFTER they handed me over to LGR
