If you care about your loved ones DO NOT have your last will and testament with Standard Bank Trust Limited #Enough

Standard bank does not care about ensuring your loved ones are looked after when you pass. Do not take out any policies with Standard Bank, don't have your Will managed by them or anything if you do care about your loved ones and don't just take my word for it in this review, search Standard Bank late estate and see the 100's of other people's heartbreaking stories and complaints of how they are suffering at the hands of Standard Bank. To say the worst customer service is being kind, there is 0 customer service. My mom passed away and had her last will and testament is with Standard Bank, it has been an absolute nightmare dealing with Standard Bank on top of dealing with the lost itself. While I understand that this is a lengthy process it is the lack of service and pure disrespect shown by consultants and management alike. They did absolutely nothing to start the process for 5 months and don't respond to emails or answer phones. I had to find the HOD on LINKEDIN before I got a single response and to date there is no explanation for what happened in the 5 months although she promised to investigate. It is now 18 months later, and I find myself in the same position frustrated with the lack of communication and updates, I logged a hello peter complaint and finally got a response just to find out that for another 5 months nothing has been done on the estate and it was laying on a vacant desk. I requested for weekly updates, set up weekly reminders and as I predicted the update was not sent. No improvement to service no matter how many complaints I log. The newly appointed administrator Samuel Masanga still has the audacity to have a terrible attitude in responding to emails yet proves to be just as useless as the last and not provide the requested updates, managers Vikashnie (Vicky) Naidoo and Kelly – Ann Joodt included in communication cannot be bothered to make sure that the updates go out either.
