I wouldn’t recommend this bank to a stray mangy dog. I was ****med 38 000 at a Standard Bank atm, the atm machine swallowed my card and I can’t retrieve it, while trying to get my card back, transactions went off on my notifications. 38 000 gone within seconds. The ****mers spent that money at tops, the card was frozen before tops could get paid. Now all of a sudden Standard Bank wants me as the victim of their sloppy bank ATMs to pay tops. It doesn’t matter that the transactions went of at a location I was not in. The last transaction went off as I’m in a Standard Bank branch. They now conveniently say they can’t prove I wasn’t the one who made the transactions after a useless and pointless investigation. Before I could even go the bank, Standard Bank went ahead and took 33 000 out of my account leaving me with an overdraft of 10 000, in the middle of the month, they wiped me clean, didn’t care how i survive, didn’t offer a payment plan. They are cruel and heartless
