If a debt can accumulate interest then so should a credit. Unresolved Credit Card Account

This is an old matter but I believe Standard Bank has a compatible record system. Before leaving the country in the year 2017, I made a deposit of R20k into my credit card account. I did this as a contingency plan as I was entering an unknown future. From that amount of R20k, I used less than R2k. For lack of understanding, I neglected to repay the little amount that I had used or follow up on the activity of the card. The next thing I knew the card was frozen, I could not pay or withdraw from it. When I visited SA in the following year 2018, I went to two different branches; Pietermaritzburg Northdale Raisethorpe and Liberty Mall. Both these branches made use the branch telephone and I spent nearly an hour during each inquiry but I was not able to resolve the issue.

I am taking this route years later because justice needs to be done here. This issue can and must resolved. I mean if a debt can accumulate interest then why not the credit?

I am still overseas and request the account to be resolved.
