I regret banking with Standard Bank, they are refusing to remove the *****ulent credit enquiry they made without my knowledge, from 04 December to 15 January nothing has happened

They used my personal information to make a *****ulent credit enquiry without my knowledge and consent. I have been complaining about the same issue since 04 December 2024 when I noticed the *****ulent on my credit report. I wrote a formal complaint to their complaints department, it was closed without a resolution. Similarly they opened a service request which they closed without resolving my complaint. Last week I wanted to follow up and get an update seeing that the enquiry has not been removed in my credit profile. I just checked again now the *****ulent enquiry is still in my profile.

I have not been able to access any credit facility to build my credit record because of a *****ulent credit enquiry from a bank I had trusted with my personal information for more than 10 years.

All I have been getting is useless generic replies, they don't want to remove their *****ulent enquiry. Today is 15 January and I am still complaining about the same thing.

I regret ever banking with Standard bank

This is not good enough you wasted enough of my time and you continue with delay tactics, all these replies you have said nothing

You have been useless ever since I raised this issue and you just hoping I will forget about it, it's my life that is being delayed

Even today you are still waiting for your credit bureau team or there's a new excuse
