I am only giving it a 1 because there are is not an option to give a lower rating. My gran died over 7 years ago and Standard Bank were appointed the executor of the estate. We are still waiting for the estate to be wrapped up!!! After 7 years!!! In the meantime my dad has passed away close to 3/4years ago and his estate cannot be wrapped up due to Standard Bank's incompetence. We have whole mail trails where we the kids have to follow up with Standard Bank to get them to engage with SARS (their excuse after 6 years was they didn't have login details!!!!) or to get them to go to the municipality- we eventually at our own cost flew our step mother down to deal directly with the council. They are not proactive and sometimes not even reactive to requests and mails. And even if you escalate to management they still don't treat it with urgency - as I said 7 years and we still waiting!!!! Do not let Standard Bank be the executor of your estate!
