Horrific services turned into world class service... Well done Standard Bank Fordsburg

After experiencing horrific service from Standard Bank on the two occasions i wished to open a bank account with them in space of a year I was inclined to think this bank strive on upsetting customers and delivering horrific service. As an individual in the service arena myself I strive to deliver awesome service at all times and I am pedantic about customer centricity.

After posting the complaint I dealt with a Clint who really is a brand ambassador for the bank and got things done within a short space of time to resolve my queries. Well done and Thank you Clint for your efficient service delivery and empathy to my frustration.

My query was than directed to the Fordsburg branch and I received a call and met with the branch manager, Shireen Ramnath. After meeting with her I was convinced that Standard Bank really do have individuals who care about customers and will go out of their way to assist them to resolve matters. I met with Shireen last weekend to resolve my queries, bearing in mind it was her day off but she came in to meet with me and assist me. That for me is going over and above the call of duty all to keep a customer happy and deliver a world class service. Thank you Shireen and I must say you have convinced me to stay with Standard Bank and I will be keeping my account with the bank. The Standard Bank group truly has a valuable person working for them, someone who goes above the job specification given to them to ensure a happy customer and that for me is so rare in this day and age. Well done and I am proud to say I belong to a bank who cares.
