Horrible experience
After numerous horrible experiences with Standard Bank, I decided to switch my business over to Nedbank. I changed my number on my account to my current number. I was not explained that a separate application needs to be brought in order to change the OTP-recipient number. It seems completely illogical that this is the process and that no consultant considers it necessary to explain this. Needless to say I had to start the great Trek of changing my OTP in order to transfer my funds from Standard Bank to Nedbank. I figured that I will just change the recipient number of my OTP and then transfer the money. I did this. I was then informed that all is in order. I then tried adding a beneficiary, but the OTP still went through to my old number. I do not have access to this number anymore. I then had to go back to the bank in order to enquire if there is a waiting period for the number details to go through. I was informed that there is. I cannot fathom why the consultant, knowing my frustrations, would not inform me of this waiting period. As it stands the OTP recipient number is still not changed and I will probably need to hire a professional exorcist to release my money.
