HONOURING FEES
HONOURING FEES - YET AGAIN FOR THE SECOND TIME IN A YEAR, AFTER THEY WERE REVERSED THE LAST TIME. I JUST FEEL HONOURING FEE MEANS THEY HAVE HONOURED SOMETHING BUT IN THIS CASE I AM CHARGED HONOURING FEE YET I PAY FOR ALL MY TRANSACTIONS AND STILL GET CHARGED BANK FEES, MONTHY FEES, TRANSACTIONAL FEES AND THEN ALL OF SUDDEN YET AGAIN FOR THE SECOND TIME AFTER BEING REVERSED I AM CHARGED WHAT STANDATD BANK CALLS - HONOURING FEES... I AM ALREADY PAYING TOO MUCH - PLEASE RETURN OR REVERSE TO CONTINUE KEEPING ME AS A CLIENT.

Honoring fees are charged when you process a transaction and do not have enough funds to cater for that transaction. Merchants take 2-3 days up to 6 months to bank their transactions. Furthermore, funds need to be available and enough to cater for these transactions. Once a transaction is banked and there are not enough funds in your account to honor the transaction; an honoring fee will be charged because the merchant will already be paid. The fee will be equivalent to the transaction amount if the transaction is below R100.00 and will be R100.00 if the transaction is over R100.00.
