*** service, i am very disappointed and hurt, i cannot believe that Standard bank couldn't assist me during rough time. I called on the 24th if not the 25/02/2020 requesting for Standard bank to assist me on my Home loan with a holiday payment and i spoke to some consultant which he gave me a good service and advised me that he logged a request and someone will contact me back to assist. On the 26th i received a call from Lengana Molefe who requested me to resend documents for my application, i resend them to him. I told him i needed assistant as am going through alot, my husband had a car accident with our car and the car was a write off, insurance was not paid at the time, the car is still financed, my husband uses the vehicle for his small business, now that the vehicle is not there anymore, my husband cannot do his business and he cannot assist with buying food in the house, and assist with some debts. I explained the situation to Lengana and he said he was not convinced, i could hear in his voice that he is not interested. On the 27th he called me again to advise that he will be assisting with the holiday payment and it will only be for 3 months, and the amount will increase after the plan. I advised him am okay with it and i will be done paying my finance so it won't be a problem, so everything was finalized and he said i will be advised how much i will be paying next. On the 03/03/2020 he called me 11:45 to advise me that my request has been declined and the reason for my request is not good enough i must go and get a loan, image that, he is so rude doesn't he think if i qualified for a loan i was'nt gonna come to them? i really did not appreciate the service he gave me and he also gave me false hope, and as for STD BANK i thought nothing is impossible as your logo and you are there for your customers, which i was wrong. Now i won't be able to pay my monthly payments and you guys do not care if my name is going to be on default, or maybe that is your intentions.

I would advise people to check other banks if they need Home Loan, as for STD Bank its a no no, they do not care about their customers at all. As for you Lengana Molefe i could hear that you where enjoying what you where doing i could even hear the smile on your voice when you decline my request. I just hope you do not go through the same situation if not worse that mine in further as we cannot predict the future.
