Homeless Because of Standard Bank Home Loans !!!

We app**** for a bond with Standard Bank and Signed all the documents early November with their attorneys and terminated our lease for 15 December as transfer was expected to be by the first week of december LATEST.<br> <br> On 23 November their attorneys spotted an error on the bond property description and logged a request for the amendment (a simple 3 word change which was preventing lodgement)<br> <br> Standard Bank informed them that the amendment would take upto 5 days, 9 days later nothing had been done and it was escalated with the new date 9 december<br> <br> today is 10 December and still the same story (they are awaiting the changes to be made)<br> <br> I am now 6 days away from being homeless all because of this incompetence and this will cost me over R23 000 to move all my belongings and rent somewhere for the next month as the deeds office closes soon for the holidays and all because of someones incompetence my family and i now have to suffer for the next month at the least.<br> <br> Surely it cant take 17 Days to amend 3 words Standard bank or am i asking to much ?<br> <br> Oh and every time i call for an update im given a new reference number ... what do you expect us to do ???<br> <br> Horrific service !!!
