Home Loans Department is Useless

After having converted my building loan to a regular mortgage, I opted (and notified) the home loans department that I already have my own insurance in place and would not require any additional insurance on my home from Standard Bank. I also forwarded my existing policy schedule. They accepted and said I will not be charged for insurance premiums on my home.

However, on my mortgage statement there are still insurance deductions being made. I have informed Standard Bank, but nothing is being done about this, and I still have not received any refunds for the premiums being deducted. Meanwhile, I'm also paying INTEREST on the insurance premium deductions they are making on my bond.
