Home loan - Paid Off but still being debited

Standard Bank has violated the National Creditor Regulators Regulation agreement by not adhering to the agreed period and 58 months commencing on the 25th month of July 2011. Instead of terminating the agreement on the appropriate date (July 2016) the bank proceeded to debit my account until the year 2018 March, thus perceiving it as an evergreen contract as of loan sharks. I have made requests to enquire on the debit order arrangement and my inquest was disregarded with assurance of follow up feedback. I was advised that the above matter will be reported to the banks ombudsman, financial service board and financial service board with a competent and advanced pool of chartered accountants, internal and external auditors participating in the bank financial statements, the above arbitration should have not occurred. I feel that my constitutional right is violated based on the below: By not adhering to the specified period of payments I could not afford to: • Pay my medical aid’s monthly subscription fees to the detriment of my families’ basic right to health requirements, pray for activation and subsidiary by standard bank. • Purchase basic nutrition food supplies for the family. • Pay for my obligatory municipality rates and taxes as well as water and lights currently amounting monthly. • Pay for my dependent further tertiary education and as a result studies were discontinued. • Could not pay the Bank’s overdraft account Disingenuous answers to verbal enquiries concerning agreement (revolving loan agreement). Issuing of incorrectly activated reference numbers on the computer system No timeous processing of information by relevant officials leading to financial and emotional suffering and losses. I am so dissapointed by the level of service provided and lack of feedback to the customer.
