Home Loan messed up

We did a bond application and it was granted for a spesific property. Bond acc no ********** 92. The bank did only a desktop evaluation and after us requesting a physical assesment, they withdrew the Bond for this properpry. We have various references and telephonic conversations with the Home Loans Division where they agreed that they could change the Property and still grant this bond as it was still within their time limit. We then gave a new offer to purchase. Radia Barnes advised us that we need to make it the same bond amount in order to not have issues and we therefor stated that we would give the rest (higher amount) in cash as deposit and this would then not affect the application whatsoever. The bond application was closed, even though Radia also confirmed that she did put a note on their system for it not be closed. After struggling with her for days and after she has come up with various excuses as to why we suddenly no longer qualify could not be answered up until now. First there was a security problem with the new house, but after the Sales Agent got a hold of Alan (STD Bank Assesor) we found that he had no issues whatsoever with the property. The property value is also more than the previous property. Carlo Lottering sent me an email on 10/06/16 stating "Kindly note that the rate is subject to change should the loan amount or purchase price change. Due to this your interest rate cannot be reverted to 11.20%" Standard Bank is not willing to give me the Bond anymore. Where or when did our profile then change or our affordability and the bond was 1st granted at a higher interest rate, but now suddenly we cannot even get the bond at the 1st interest rate they given us?

STD Bank also did another credit check on us this week that was not authorised by us and still Carlo cannot explain to me why? They tried hiding the fact that they messed up here and after all the excuses I believe someone did not do their job properly. I hope Management will look into this.

I stayed with STD Bank for many years, but now I fear they do not care about me as a valued client. We now need to rush to get bond approval from other banks as we are going to be put on terms soon and may end up loosing this property. Their credit checks will probably also influence our scoring. How can we keep STD Bank liable should we loose this due to their faults?

Guess what... Once again we received notification that STD Bank did a credit check once again on 20/06/2016 without any authorisation!!! This of course is going to have a negative effect on our credit profiles.

Olla emailed me, but still cannot answer my questions. Why was offer cancelled even though STD Bank agreed to keep the application open, which meant there should have been no reinstatements. The bond should also not have been reworked as it was approved and STD Bank agreed not to have to do this. Also I emailed STD Bank not to do any further credit checks, yets this was done in any case.

You are not willing to tell me why the steps that was taken was not the same as what was agreed or advised to us. Our status has also not changed as it has improved.
