Home Loan Insurance cancelled - no client consent

Hi there<br> Please can you assist with the below query.<br> We registered a home loan with standard bank in 2004 and when I moved to work for Standard bank CIB my bon was transferred to CIB.<br> I resigned from Standard bank and in July/August 2012 I received a notification that my CIB home loan was going to be transferred to PBB. Nothing happened until I followed up with CIB in November 2012 because we wanted to apply for an access bond as we were renovating our house. Then the CIB homeloans consultant sent through me the forms. <br> We completed the forms including an Insurance form as we were advised it was mandatory. When we signed (March 2013) the agreement with the lawyers we were advised that the monthly instalment includes insurance. After that I also went and cancelled my home insurance that I had with Sanlam since joining CIB - as you might be aware a CIB we had separate home insurance cover it was not part of the monthly instalment.<br> On the 13 May 2015 my geyser burst and I called Std bank home loan insurance and I was advised that I am not insured. I called home loans dept and I was informed that my insurance was cancelled on the 4 December 2014 and the consultants couldn't tell m
