home loan application outstanding since February 2016

<p>Me and my fiancee app**** for a home loan in Feb 2016, after following up and following up myself as i struggled to get feedbank from the branch, it was declined saying that i was on debt review, which i wasnt, i contacted the debt review department and explained to them that the bank says i am on debt review, and they took me off their system (WHY WOULD I APPLY FOR A HOME LOAN IF I KNEW THAT I WAS ON DEBT REVIEW?????? ) Standard Bank granted us a home loan in Feb 2015 and i got a credit card in that year, but a yar later when i want to apply for another loan they tell me i am on debt review?</p> <p> </p> <p>the debt review issue was sorted end April, i contacted the lady at the branch and explained to her that the flag has been removed and that she can continue with the application, she then wanted new payslips and bankstatements again which i took to her, i have been phoning almost every week to follow up on the application and it is just going NO WHERE! everytime i speak to a consultant the answer is just the same " the application is currently at arbitrations mam"</p> <p> </p> <p>this has been 2 months now since the debt review issue has been sorted and 5 months since we started this application!!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>we do not get feedback from the bank at all!</p> <p> </p> <p>this is pathetic service really!</p> <p> </p> <p>if i do not get an answer before Monday, WE WILL MOVE OUR CURRENT HOME LOAN AND ALL OTHER BUSINESS WE HAVE WITH STANDARDBANK TO ANOTHER BANK WHO WILL BE WILLING TO GIVE US THE SERVICE THAT WE NEED!</p> <p> </p> <p>THANK YOU</p>
