Highly frustrating & appalling customer service (Standard Bank Private Banking )

Further to me taking the time and effort to physically drive across to the Standard Bank private banking offices in-person last week Friday (18 October) to expedite the required assistance with my Standard Bank profile, I have still not received any further notification/ feedback regarding the resolution of the following items ( as stated in my earlier mail to you on the 22nd of Oct as per the attachment) : • Confirming my evolve card delivery to my branch (Sanridge- Midrand), • Expediting the uCount card that I need to be issued, • Having my Standard Bank SIM card benefit retrieved/reinstated (as per our discussion)

I then sent a further mail to the private banker assigned to me on the 25 October and have not received a reply to the several mails I sent requesting assistance.

If this is the level of service from Standard Bank for it's private banking clients, I shudder to think what other Standard Bank clients are experiencing on a daily basis.

I might add that this is the 4th or 5th time that I have had a change of private banker as it seems that whenever you get a responsive, competent private banking personnel, Standard Bank promotes them to business banking and then you as a loyal individual client is back to square one.

Furthermore, there appears to be no consistency, some private bankers have provided a direct line or Whatsapp number so the client can reach the designated banker directly (now it seems the latest trend is to provide a generic private banking line which goes to anyone from the call centre who is available). Thus the private banker service is a "illusion", since you rarely get your designated banker when you need to (and they don't provide you with their direct line / contact number).

As a long standing Standard Bank client I find this utterly frustrating and unfair. Now I am being told discrepant information about the Standard Bank SIM card benefit for private banking clients moving to MTN as a service provider (how and why should this disadvantage clients who are entitled to this benefit which other clients who have existing Std Bank SIM cards still benefit from)? This inconsistency and appalling customer service is highly unacceptable.
