Hidden costs to consumers

My vehicle and asset finance with Standard Bank was paid up. I asked for the original documents fully expecting Standard Bank to transfer ownership into my name and providing me with the title documents in my name and not the bank's any longer.

To my surprise I received the title deeds in the bank's name, a copy of ID of what I assume is a Standard Bank employee and a NATIS change of title holder form.

Are they seriously expecting me to go into the Licensing department myself and spending my valuable time and effort to effect the transfer? They had the resources to register the vehicle in their name to protect their asset, but once they didn't need the protection any longer, they have made it my problem.

Where is putting the customer first???????????
