Help needed

I don't know if standard bank will be able to help. Since March 2020 we have been working at less than 50 percent capacity, so that meant earning less than 50 percent of what I used to. I incured debt that I was unable to pay mostly due to that for most of this state of disaster I've been at home. I had a protection plan on my rcs account in case I was unable to work. To my surprise they didn't want to help me when I dd not work. Things are almost back to normal at work so I'm nearing my basic wage. I currently earn R7500 before deductions. I'm in need of a credit card so I can get a hold of my debt. I'm trying to manage everything so I can get back on track. Just have a look at my credit history before March 2020, it was near flawless. I hope Standard bank will be able to help. I'm not banking with them but I hope they can help me. With a credit card I can manage everything along with my wife, who also earns R8000 a month.
