HARASSED BY STANDARD BANK VEHICLE FINANCE FOR A VEHICLE I DO NOT HAVE FINANCED WITH THEM

In July 2015 Standard Bank started sending text and arrear messages to me in respect of vehicle finance. The problem is that I do not have a vehicle finance account with Standard Bank at all. This has now started again from the beginning of October 2017, just today I received from a computer and two arrear text messages, again for someone else's account and not my own. The concern I have is that I have enough details for their client that being in the wrong hands, is brilliant to be used for identity theft. The worse is that I have called the number ( ********** 347) four times and each time not even a supervisor is available as they are always in meetings. Today i spoke to Tracey at 11h10 and was on hold for at least 10 minutes for her to get a supervisor only to be told that they were in meetings. They have made notes on their system that the arrear messages are being sent to the incorrect person and they do not have the common decency to acknowledge my complaint or even have it addressed.

This is disgraceful and is starting to affect me emotionally.

I will certainly proceed with legal action and report to the banking ombudsman should this not be resolved.
