Harassed

Hi,

I am being harassed by a debt collector on behalf of standard bank. I have been receiving phone calls for about 3 years now, and lately it's everyday, and these people are telling me that I owe standard bank some money. I used to have a bank account with standard bank a a student (close to 9 years ago) and I left the bank to bank with another bank. I had a loan with them which I paid off way before I closed the account. I have been asking the debt collectors to send me a statement to show me what it is that I owe standard and each time they tell me that they did but I've never received it from them. I went to a standard bank branch to see if I could get a statement and they had no records of any accounts in my name.

I am at a point where I do not know what to do as these calls are stating to frustrate me, I honestly feel abused by these callers.

Please help.
