Handed over for unauthorized banking charges

I have been receiving call from debt collectors for unauthorized banking charges. Earlier last year I went to the Grove Branch for them to assist me with the bank charges and they said they will reverse them and gave me a statement stating that my balance was zero this year I have been receiving calls from debt collectorstating that I owe them R12000 on banking fees imagine. I need help with this issue.
