Handed over for paid up account
I have been receiving SMS's from MBD about my STD credit card that was paid off last year through McRoberts lawyers. I have explained this to MBD and was requested to send 'Paid Letter' which I did but I am still receiving these SMS which are frustrating me. Upon calling MBD offices they tell me that I must contact STD bank it is not their fault when i do they just give MBD contact number to deal with them. I even contacted McRoberts they also said I must contact STD bank as they have done their part it is up to STD bank. I dont know what to do as this is account is also reflection at Credit Bureau. Please assist.

In order for the bank to remove your number from the sms list at least there has to be an arrangement in place for the arrears on file.
We notice that the R3500 was transferred into your revolving credit plan loan instead of the credit card.
