Handed Over for Paid Account ---

A few years ago I lost my job and had Debt Rescue assist me with my monthly debt payments so I wouldn't be blacklisted. In August 2012, they settled my credit card with Standard Bank. Standard Bank has handed me over due to an unpaid account stating there was still money owing and I have been trying since February to get this misunderstanding sorted out. I am no longer a client of Debt Rescue and they have been nice enough to assist me and have also sent through the statements and court documents showing the payments were made correctly and in full. Both Debt Rescue and I have repeatedly emailed and called Standard Bank, but they do not come back to us. <br> <br> I have now been listed as a \bad payer"and I am unable to even apply for car financing and Standard Bank does not come back to me or Michelle Whitaker (Debt Rescue).
