Gross dissatisfaction

Good day

This is my 3rd attempt to try and get matters resolved with vendors that have granted poor service to myself as a client.

First and foremost, I received funds on my Standard Bank account this morning for my son's modelling job an amount of R2470.40and was shocked that the only available funds in my account was only R29.00. I called the customer care line and spoke to Nokuthula who referred me to another rep by the name of Kwena and finally sent to Makana who apparently is the Office Team Leader. nevertheless, I explained my situation to him but unfortunately the matter was then unresolved. I requested to be transferred to a person higher than his authority and at that moment the person was not in the office but I managed to get her email address. I then sent an email to her earlier today with the hope that when I am back from a meeting this afternoon I would at least received feedback from her, which was not the case.

My plea here is that I knew of an amount close to R500.00 that I owed the bank and not +-R2000, which was then deducted yesterday. After I realised that the money that was meant for the kid is deducted, I attempted to negotiate on getting atleast some of the funds as they were not for my own benefit. My intentions were made clear that I do intend to make an arrangement to pay but what I was not clear about is the reasons why the banking fees when up to +- R2K. nevertheless, the bank indicated that the funds were for unpaid debits and which in my case were stopped but deducted continuosly.

Kindly assist me in recovering my child's funds as they are solely to assist with both my children's school fees as I am the sole breadwinner.

In 2013 I had a similar if not worse issue with Standard Bank, where they were unable to reverse an EFT transaction done by myself within the prescribed time frames claiming that it was technicalities on both STD & FNB processing and had to recover from depression due to the loss of R9400.00.

To end the email, I resort to these measures purely because you had assisted me previously with a Woolworths case which was resolved amicably, and greatly appreciated your intervention.

Hoping to hear from your side soon

Kind regards

Bulelwa
