Garage card authorization

I have a Standard bank Credit Card, Current account and GARAGE CARD (nogal a prestige package). I live in the southern cape and have to travel to Gauteng and Mpumalanga frequently by car requiring that I have to fill-up a few times during the course of a 12 hour period with my Garage card.<br> <br> Up to a couple of years ago Standard bank security/authorization department would phone and confirm that it was a valid transaction as soon as I fill-up outside the Southern Cape. For the last couple of years they simply block your card if it doesn't fit their security checks - leaving you stranded or in a very uncomfortable and sometimes dangerous situation.<br> <br> This to me is a very unprofessional way of verifying transactions. Travel time is unnecessarily extended. Me and my family's safety is at risk when you have to run around during night hours trying to get cash drawn somewhere else.<br> <br> Standard Bank please make another plan to verify legitimate transactions or I'll have to take my business somewhere else.<br> <br> regards<br>
