frozen bank account while i'm in foreign country

This is not funny.<br> I went into several branches to make sure there will be no problems with cash flow while in New Zealand.<br> <br> On paying for food I was embarrassed as it did not accept my card.<br> I phoned the international number with my last airtime and they told me I had to provide ID and proof of residence to one of their branches.<br> <br> I told the lady I'm on holiday and do not have an account with me and I cant just hop on a plane to quickly hand it in. So guess I'm stuck with nothing and no income!
