Frozen accounts

Went into a Std Bank branch one month ago to provide FICA documentation. Because of a problem with my I/D I ended up speaking to a senior lady who said she would accept what i provided and write a covering note for H/O FICA dept. Yesterday, two of my accounts were frozen. I contacted the FICA dept. and spent 41 minutes trying to sort it out. I was finally told that my accounts would be 'unfrozen'. Today I tried to access an account only to find it still frozen. I have now just spent 81 minutes going through the whole exercise with a different person. I understand the act is basically to cut out money laundering and other nefarious things. I however, have been a Standard bank client for 40 years, so it's not as though they don't know me! Interesting thing is that my credit card was not frozen, so I can continue to spend and of course pay interest!
