Frozen account due to debt review and no assistance from Standard bank - Income now frozen
Good day,
Please can you kindly assist. I have requested previously that my cheque account not be closed as I am unable to change the banking details from where I receive my state pension with the compensation commissioner.
My source of income has now gone into the cheque account and I am unable to make use of these funds. This results in the funds that would be used to pay the Standard bank revolving credit, Standard Bank credit card, Standard bank bond have now all been trapped in the Standard bank cheque account.
I have budgeted to leave the overdraft repayments in that account and transfer out the rest of the repayments for the bond, revolving credit and credit card like I did last month.
As I have been unable to get any joy or assistance from Standard bank in this regard I no longer know what to do? Do you have any suggestions?
Perhaps Standard Bank can debit the bond, RC, CC repayments from the now frozen cheque account as I have no access to those funds due to standard bank and our pathetic government departments who are unable to change a simple bank detail.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Regards Rene Roestorf
