********** Transaction with STD Bank Card and STD Bank refusing to reimburse.

So Standard Bank has advised the transactions were not tapped but someone used the pin, if that were the case, its strange that the person who stole the card did not just go and withdraw money or pay for something with a substantial value. Also it baffles me that Standard Bank would allow someone to transact more than 20 times, whether its via Tap or a Pin, an amount of R490, which is almost the tapping limit, the person who stole the card and tapped it 20 times knows there is a limit of R500 and so they tapped R490and STD Bank allowed 20 of those transactions, whilst I was sleeping and not aware of these transactions because my phone was ****** along with the card. STD BANK clearly does not have the necessary features to notice when ***** is being done with their cards, because whether its with a pin or NOT, they should have stopped the card from transacting 20 times the same amount of R490.00, they should have systems in place that tell them there is a problem here, they clearly DO NOT and so i don't know how safe our money is with them. I have asked for a document that says MY CARD was not tapped but a pin was used, they are advising that they will provide that document to the Ombudsman or a Lawyer and NOT to the owner of the account, this sounds very fishy to me, i am, as the owner authorising that they provide me with a document that related to MY account. Not letting this go at all.
