********** credit card opened in my name

I raised a complaint 2 months ago about a ********** credit card being opened on my name, I was assured that the card was blocked and an investigation was being done, I am now getting credit card statements in the mail and on SMS saying that I owe money on the card. This account needs to be closed and taken off my name as this is now going to affect my credit rating for something which I did not even sign up in the first place.
