***** at Standard Bank ATM

First of all i hope this is the place I can get help. I tried to withdraw money from a Standard Bank Auto bank at Tunnel Plaza, on the T Junction near The Oaks, Hoedspruit area. My Card was swallowed without me getting any money. I could not get my card out and the machine did not respond to any button being pressed. Within 2 minutes there was 4 withdrawals on my account from ABSA bank. R3000, R2000, R3000 and R2000. In total R10 000.

I immediately jumped in my vehicle and drove to my Local Standard Bank in Hoedspruit to report this *****. The put me on a phone line to the ***** department. This was a lady who could not answer anything to me but only captured my report. I was told the standard procedure of a new card that will be issued. No attempt to reverse anything was made.

I reported the ***** to SAP in Hoedspruit. Case reported on 2020-02-20 Case number CAS60/2/2020.

On Sunday i received this message from Standard Bank Anti-*****: Dear Client, after carefully reviewing your card ***** claim, we confirm that the claim has been declined as the original card chip and PIN were used for the disputed transaction(s) Queries +***.

This response is not acceptable to me. I could not get my card back I could not do anything at the ATM because nothing was working. How could the bank say the money was withdrawn from the same bank, this card was cloned right there inside their machine.
