To someone Competant to handle this:

on Saturday 29 October i went to the ATM at Standard bank in High street to draw money. My card got swallowed.

i Then immediately phoned the call centre ( from where i was standing at the ATM) to ask if they could see what's happening and to block my card.

The consultant i spoke to said - your card wont come out - I will have to go to the bank to get a new card. I got cut off. then I got home , phoned again. i was advised my card was blocked.

Monday morning 31/10/2016 - i went to Standard bank to find out the procedure to get a new card - i was told that R2500 was withdrawn from my account from an Absa Teller.

i then asked - can we please look on the camara - to my shock i was told - Sorry - there's no camara , also no guard was present then.

The consultant got me on the lind to ***** - spoke to Vinolia ( reference ********** ) - she advised that i need to wait a few days for them to investigate - ( more to see if there was negligence??????)

Yesterday - wednesday 09 november - Brenda phoned me ( reference ********** 01479)

she asked me for an itemised billing from Vodacom to confirm that i phoned STD bank to cancell my card!!!!! I was so shocked - where are the phone recordings on the system?????

So now i must just accept that my money was ****** and is now my fault ??? due TO STD bank that can' t "jack" up their security services????

as from 23 December i will be unemployed - so i need my money back with immediate effect - i feel this is not my fault. I cant accept just to write off R2500 !

I refuse - i will take this further and post this on Social media .

I would like to close my account as well

Can I please get feedback from Senior management - as i need to pay my rent ( from STD bank where my money was suppose to be safe!)

Thanking you

Ellen Griesel
