Formal Complaint against standard bank and their loans department and systems

<p>Many years ago i had a an access loan with Standard Bank, how due to me being unemployed for a while i stood as bad credit. 2 years ago was employed again and have managed to pay and free this account. I sent in all the relevant information and still have not received any joy in closing this account completely. </p> <p>Trusting the bank i decided to join them again, and whilst trying to sign up for Ucount rewards thay have picked this access loan account not being closed. Again i sent all the necessary docs and assured this was sorted. </p> <p> </p> <p>A week ago i was trying to obtain a credit card from the bank, a sales consultant called me and had advised me that there is something that blocking me from getting credit card. I needed a credit card cause of an emergency, so i had to go another bank which i am not too comfortable with. </p> <p> </p> <p>Therefore i want to log this as a formal complaint against standard bank and asking them to please change the status of my loan account which has been closed in the year 2014. Please update your systems if you cannot do so, then i would like to move to another bank who can give me the service i require. </p>
